What's the best way to get to Jaipur?

First, a huge thank you for making the trek all the way to India to celebrate our special day. Our recommendation for travel from the US is to fly to a major Indian city like Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, or Bangalore. From each of these cities, there are direct domestic flights to Jaipur.

Visa Requirements for US citizens:

US citizens can apply for an e-Visa online at least four days before their arrival if they're visiting India for tourism for less than 30 days. The e-Visa application process involves uploading a photo and passport page, paying the fee online, and receiving an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) by email. At the immigration checkpoint in India, the ETA will be stamped on the passport. The e-Visa has five sub-categories, including e-Tourist, e-Business, and e-Medical.

Where should I stay?

After receiving RSVPs, we will follow up directly regarding accommodation details.

Will Transportation be provided?

Based on your arrival and departure times we will have dedicated shuttles to pick you up from the Jaipur airport, which is just a ten minute ride to the Hyatt Regency. Ubers and local taxis are also available and safe to use around the surrounding areas.

What will the weather be like?

Welcome to the desert, we are in for a treat! Jaipur in November will be pleasant, with mild temperatures and clear skies. Days will be warm, averaging around 80 degrees Fahrenheit and evenings will be cool averaging 60 degrees Fahrenheit.

What should we bring?

Some essentials to keep ALL types of bugs away to enjoy the wedding to the fullest extent.

  • Bug Spray ( mosquitos)

  • Sunscreen

  • Water Bottle ( to be filled with only bottled/filtered water)

  • Sneakers
